Mae Canolfan Iago yn ddarpariaeth arbenigol Gymraeg sydd wedi'i lleoli yn Ysgol Bryniago i ddiwallu anghenion dysgwyr ag Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol. Mae'n gwasanaethu ysgolion cynradd Clwstwr Gŵyr, gan ddarparu amgylchedd cynhwysol, cefnogol ac ysgogol lle gall pob dysgwr ffynnu.

Ar hyn o bryd, mae'r ganolfan yn cynnwys un dosbarth arbenigol, gyda chynlluniau i ehangu'r ddarpariaeth dros y blynyddoedd nesaf. Mae pob dysgwr yn dilyn cwricwlwm personol sy'n adlewyrchu ei gryfderau, ei anghenion a'i botensial, gan roi pwyslais ar ddatblygu sgiliau cyfathrebu, annibyniaeth, lles emosiynol, perthnasoedd cadarnhaol a sgiliau bywyd.

Mae'r tîm arbenigol yn gweithio'n agos gyda rhieni, gofalwyr a gweithwyr proffesiynol i sicrhau bod pob dysgwr yn derbyn y gefnogaeth briodol a'r cyfleoedd gorau i wneud cynnydd yn ei ddysgu a'i ddatblygiad.

Ein gweledigaeth yw creu amgylchedd lle mae pob dysgwr yn teimlo'n ddiogel, yn cael ei werthfawrogi ac yn cael ei alluogi i ddatblygu'r hyder, y medrau a'r annibyniaeth sydd eu hangen i lwyddo.

 

 

Canolfan Iago is a Welsh-medium specialist provision based at Ysgol Bryniago, established to meet the needs of learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Serving the primary schools within the Gwyr Cluster, it provides an inclusive, supportive and stimulating environment where every learner can thrive.

At present, the centre comprises one specialist class, with plans to expand the provision over the coming years. Each learner follows a personalised curriculum that reflects their strengths, needs and potential, with an emphasis on developing communication skills, independence, emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and life skills.

The specialist team works closely with parents, carers and external professionals to ensure that every learner receives the appropriate support and the best possible opportunities to make progress in their learning and development.

Our vision is to create an environment where every learner feels safe, valued and empowered to develop the confidence, skills and independence needed to succeed.
