Cyrsiau Preswyl/ Residential Courses
Yn 2025-2026 bydd YGG Bryniago yn trefnu ymweliad preswyl ar y cyd gyda chlwstwr Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr fel rhan o'r cynllun pontio. Credwn fod yr ymweliadau yma yn hollbwysig fel rhan o’n cwricwlwm ac fel rhan o ddatblygiad personol a chymdeithasol ein disgylion. Datblygwn amrywiaeth o sgiliau gydol oes drwy’r ymweliadau yma hefyd. Rydyn ni’n creu atgofion am oes. Fodd bynnag, bydd yr ysgol yn danfon holiadur at rieni er mwyn casglu barn am gost yr ymweliadau preswyl a drefnir gan yr ysgol.
During 2025-2026 YGG Bryniago arrange a residential course within the Gwyr cluster of schools as part of the transition programme. We believe that these courses play a vital part within our curriculum. It also further develops the pupils’ personal and social skills. The pupils further develop a range of other life skills during these visits. We create memories that will last a lifetime. The school will send out a questionnaire to parents to gather views on the cost of the residential courses arranged by the school.
Yn 2026-2027 bydd YGG Bryniago yn trefnu 2 wrs preswyl ar gyfer y disgyblion: Blynyddoedd 4 a 5 a Blwyddyn 6.
During 2026-2027 YGG Bryniago will be arranging 2 residential courses: Year 4 and 5 residential course and a Year 6 residential course. arranged by the school.
Blwyddyn 4 a 5 (2026-2027): Gwersyll Yr Urdd, Caerdydd
Mae Gwersyll yr Urdd Caerdydd yn hostel 4 seren wedi ei leoli ym Mae Caerdydd. Mae'n rhoi'r cyfle i blant a phobl ifanc flasu a mwynhau danteithion prifddinas Cymru. Mae ystod eang o weithgareddau a chyrsiau i grwpiau o bob maint yn y Gwersyll.

Our Cardiff Residential Centre gives children and young people a taste of the Capital's City life. Our 4-star hostel is located in Cardiff Bay; under the iconic roof of Wales Millennium Centre and opposite the Senedd Building; there is nowhere better to get a cultural experience! We offer a range of activities and courses for groups of all sizes.
Blwyddyn 6 (2025-2026 a 2026-2027): Gwersyll Yr Urdd, Llangrannog
Sefydlwyd Gwersyll Llangrannog yn 1932 fel gwersyll parhaol cyntaf Urdd Gobaith Cymru. Yn y ganolfan breswyl hon ar arfordir prydferth Ceredigion caiff plant a phobl ifanc gymdeithasu a dysgu trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg.

Gwersyll Llangrannog was founded in 1932 as Urdd Gobaith Cymru's first permanent centre. Situated on the stunning coast of West Wales the centre offers opportunity for pupils to socialise and learn through the medium of Welsh.
